Week 2 Online Communities
The online community that I chose was Facebook. I chose it simply because I already had an account setup and thought it would be a tad easier. I've had my Facebook account for almost 2 years and I love it! I have been able to get back in touch with old classmates and I'm able to stay in touch with my family a little easier. When my old classmates want to discuss future plans for a reunion we can set up a thread and it's so easy to do and include everyone on it. I usually get on it about everyday to check statuses and just too see what everyone is up to. It really is a hoot to see what one puts on their status :) I believe this is something the libraries will find useful simply because it's so easy to do and keep in touch with everyone. ReplyDeleteI usually get on about once a day, too. Sometimes some of my friends' statuses crack me up, too. I even find myself reading them and laughing out loud. I still haven't joined the Sorority thing on there. :( I have been bad enough with keeping up with the other games. I haven't been in Farmville or Farmtown forever!
